Introduction

With Zivver, you can securely send attachments up to 5,000 GB in size. This allows you to bypass the file size limits of your own email provider while ensuring that sensitive information remains protected during transfer.

This guide explains how to send large files using the Zivver WebApp. To use this feature, you must log in to your Zivver account. All attachments are encrypted before being sent, and recipients must authenticate themselves using two-factor authentication (2FA) before they can access the message. If the recipient already has a Zivver account, authentication occurs automatically during login.

Procedure

Follow the steps below to send a large file.

1. Log in at the WebApp.
2. Click the button to start a new message.
3. Enter the recipient(s).
4. Optional: Click the BCC button to add BCC recipients.
5. Enter a subject.
6. Enter your message.
7. Click the attach_file Attachments button.
8. Select the large file you want to send.
   It might take some time for the file to upload completely.
9. Click the Send button to send the message.
10. Optional: Depending on the content of your message and your recipients, you might see notifications that require your attention. After addressing all notifications, click arrow_forward to close the side pane and click the Send button again to send the message.
