Delegate your account

Introduction

It is possible to delegate the use of your Zivver account to the holder of another Zivver account. This is useful in situations where multiple people share a “professional identity” such as with legal aides, secretarial work or similar.

How to appoint delegates for your account

To add a delegate who can send and receive messages using your account:

  1. Go to the Zivver WebApp.
  2. Click the Personal Settings icon settings
  3. Click Delegation in the sidebar.
  4. Click ADD
    An input window pops up
  5. Enter an email address corresponding to an existing Zivver account.
  6. Click ADD
    You have successfully delegated access to your Zivver account. The delegate can now switch to your account to read and send messages on your behalf. They are not able to change your account settings or password.

How to remove delegates from your account

To remove a delegate account from the list of accounts which can send and receive messages on your behalf:

  1. Go to the Zivver WebApp.
  2. Click the Personal Settings icon settings
  3. Click Delegation in the sidebar.
  4. Click the delete forever icon delete_forever next to the delegate account to be removed.
    The delegation is now cancelled, the former delegate can no longer read and send messages on your behalf
