Activate the Zivver Plugin in OWA

Introduction

This document explains how to check whether the plugin is active in Outlook Web Access (OWA). The plugin may have been installed correctly, but may not be (yet) active in OWA.

Activate the Zivver Plugin

Do these steps to activate the OWA plugin:

  1. Log in to Outlook on the Web.
  2. Compose a new message
  3. In the top menu, click the icon that says “Get add-ins” (orange grid).
  4. Click Managed by administrator.
  5. Search for Zivver in the list.
  6. Click Add.
    The plugin is now activated.

You’ll also have to make sure cookies are accepted. 1. Open the Control Panel in Windows. 2. Click Network and internet. 3. Click Internet Options. 4. Click the Privacy tab. 5. Under Settings, click the Advanced button. 6. Under Third-party cookies select the option Accept. 7. Click OK. 8. Go to the Security tab. 9. Click Trusted websites. 10. Click the Websites button. 11. Copy the following link: *.zivver.com 12. Paste the copied link in the input field. 13. Click Add. 14. Click Close. 15. Click OK.

To check whether the plugin is properly activated:

  1. Click Close to close the Settings menu.
  2. Click New to create a new message in OWA.
  3. Check if there’s a Zivver logo in the top menu, or when you click on the icon with the three little dots. Click on it. The Zivver side panel opens now.
