Grant access to another user

Introduction

This document explains how you as administrator can grant access to another user’s account. This can for example be used when a user goes on holiday and another user has to keep an eye on their email.

Grant access

  1. Go to the Accounts page.
  2. Select Edit edit next to the acount.
  3. Go to Grant access.
  4. Enter the name or the email address of the user.
  5. Click the intended user to grant them access.
The user will receive a notification email. The user will automatically be logged in to the other user’s account in the Office Plugin. In the WebApp, the user can switch between accounts by clicking the profile picture in the top right corner of the screen.
  6. Optional: Under Grant access, you can indicate that you want recipients to see who sends a message on behalf of this account. The standard organization settings can be found under Functional accounts’ settings on the Accounts page.

Revoke access

  1. Go to the Accounts page.
  2. Select Edit edit next to the account.
  3. Go to Grant access.
  4. Select Revoke delete_forever behind the user’s name.
The user no longer has access to the other account.
