Delegate access to another user in an organization

How can the administrator grant access to a user to a different user account. This can be useful, for example, when a user goes on holiday and different user must access their email.

Grant access

  1. Go to the Accounts page in the Zivver WebApp.
  2. Select Edit edit next to the account.
  3. Go to Grant access.
  4. Enter the name or the email address of the user.
  5. Click the intended user to grant them access.
The user receives a notification email. The user automatically is logged in to the other user account in the Zivver Office Plugin. In the WebApp, the user can switch between accounts by clicking the profile picture in the top right corner of the screen.
  6. Optional: Under Grant access, you can indicate that you want recipients to see who sends a message on behalf of this account. The standard organization settings can be found under Functional accounts’ settings on the Accounts page.

Revoke access

  1. Go to the Accounts page.
  2. Select Edit edit next to the account.
  3. Go to Grant access.
  4. Select Revoke delete_forever behind the user’s name.
At this time, the user does not have access to the other account.
