Delete an account

To delete an account, do these steps.

  1. Open the accounts page in the Zivver WebApp.
  2. Highlight the account that you want to process. Then, click Manage.
  3. Scroll to Moderation.
  4. Click .
  5. In the pop-up, confirm the deletion by clicking .

FAQs

Q: Can an administrator still access messages of a deleted account?

No, administrators cannot access messages of deleted accounts anymore. If the administrator needs to retain access to messages of a certain mailbox, we recommend converting this mailbox to a functional account.

Q: Can recipients of messages sent by deleted users still access these messages?

Yes, messages of deleted users stay visible for recipients. If you would like messages to be also deleted for recipients (30 days after deletion of the sender), please contact our Support team to enable a message deletion feature that we offer for this.

Q: Can I recover a deleted account?

No, deleted accounts and their associated data cannot be recovered. Please ensure the suspension process is accurate before deleting an account.

Q: How do I track which accounts got deleted?

The audit log captures an event for each deleted user account.
