Change account type
Promote or demote an account, or switch to or from a functional account.
In the Zivver WebApp, you can change an account to an administrator, personal user account, or functional account.
If users sign in with single sign-on (SSO), you can upgrade a user account to an administrator account. However, you must then set a new temporary password. This ensures that administrators can always log in, even if SSO is not functioning (temporarily).
The steps below describe how to change an account type.
- Log in to the Zivver WebApp.
- Click
Organization Settings.
- Expand
User administration.
- Click Accounts.
- Click next to the account you want to change.
- Scroll down to the Account type section.
- Select the desired account type.
- Optional: If your organization uses RBAC, you must assign a role to the user when you change the account type to Administrator. Click the Administrator role dropdown and select the desired role. For more information about the different roles, see Roles.
