Add verification method manually

Introduction

In the admin portal, you can manually add a verification method for a recipient. This is useful if you want to ensure that a specific verification method is available for a recipient without relying on the user to add it themselves. It also helps recipients access conversations more easily.

How to add a verification method manually

To add a verification method manually, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Zivver WebApp.
  2. Click on Organization Settings in the left sidebar.
  3. Click on Policies.
  4. Click on Recipient verification.
  5. Click on in the top right corner.
  6. Enter the contact’s details:
    • Full name (optional): Enter the full name of the contact (optional).
    • Email address: Enter the email address of the contact.
    • Verification Method: Select the verification method you want to add for the contact. The available options are:
      • SMS code: Add a mobile phone number.
      • Organization access code: Add an access code and optionally a hint.
      • Let Zivver decide: Zivver will decide which verification method to use for this contact.
  7. Click on to save the contact.
