Add verification method manually
Introduction
In the admin portal, you can manually add a verification method for a recipient. This is useful if you want to ensure that a specific verification method is available for a recipient without relying on the user to add it themselves. It also helps recipients access conversations more easily.
How to add a verification method manually
To add a verification method manually, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Zivver WebApp.
- Click on
Organization Settings in the left sidebar.
- Click on
Policies.
- Click on Recipient verification.
- Click on in the top right corner.
- Enter the contact’s details:
- Full name (optional): Enter the full name of the contact (optional).
- Email address: Enter the email address of the contact.
- Verification Method: Select the verification method you want to add for the contact. The available options are:
SMS code: Add a mobile phone number.
Organization access code: Add an access code and optionally a hint.
Let Zivver decide: Zivver will decide which verification method to use for this contact.
- Click on to save the contact.
