Failure of single sign-on login

When you try to log in using the metadata URL, nothing happens. You can still enter your password as if SSO was not configured.

Cause

An invalid certificate chain may be the cause.

Check your certificate at https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html. The certificate chain must be valid all the way up to the root certificate. Only then will Zivver accept the certificate. If even one link in the chain is invalid, Zivver ignores the certificate because it could be malicious.

Solutions

Solution 1 (Preferred)

Complete the certificate chain.

Solution 2 (Quick fix)

Copy and paste the metadata directly into Zivver.
Do not use the URL.

Note
The metadata will expire.
Zivver will not know where to retrieve the new metadata.
