SAML error "error ... Responder" at login to ADFS

Attempts to log in to ADFS result in

Error: urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:status:Responder

Solution

  1. Remove the single sign-on (SSO) configuration.
  2. Configure that configuration again from the start.
