AADSTS65005 Misconfigured application at Entra ID login

Attempts to log in to the Zivver WebApp result in a redirection to the Microsoft login page.

Cause 1

Possible causes include the following situations:

  • The client did not list a permission for ‘AAD Graph’ in the requested permissions in the client’s application registration.
  • The admin did not provide consent in the tenant.
  • The application identifier in the request does not match the client application identifier that is configured.

Solution 1

Ask your admin to correct the configuration or to provide consent on behalf of the tenant.

Cause 2

Incorrect user attributes.

Solution 2

Reconfigure the user.extensionattribute1 mapping.

  1. In Entra ID (not Entra Connect), retrieve the objectGUID.
  2. Save the data.
  3. Download the metadata from Entra ID again.
  4. Upload the metadata to Zivver again.
