Introduction

If your organization creates users in Zivver via Active Directory on-premises and authenticates users in Zivver via Entra ID credentials, it may be necessary to use Entra Connect to synchronize objectGUID to your Entra ID.

Synchronize objectGUID to Entra ID

1. Start Entra Connect.
2. Click Configure.
3. Select Customize synchronization options.
4. Click Next.
5. Sign in with an Entra ID account.
6. Click Next.
7. Choose a directory.
   The default selected directory is correct in most cases.
8. Click Next.
9. Filter by domain and organizational unit.
10. Click Next.
11. Under Optional features, select Directory extension attribute sync.
12. Click Next.
13. Select objectGUID (user) [Binary].
14. Click Next.
15. Select Start the synchronization process when configuration completes.
16. Click Configure.
    objectGUID is now being synchronized to Entra ID.
