Create a contact in accepted domain

How do you create a contact in Microsoft Exchange On-premises? This contact uses the placeholder domain you created in the previous step.

Prerequisite

Before you create the contact, first create an accepted domain.

Procedure

  1. Open the Exchange Administration Center (EAC).
  2. Sign in as an administrator.
  3. In the left-hand menu, select recipients.
  4. Select contacts.
  5. Click add.
  6. Choose Mail contact.
  7. For Display name, enter Zivver Relay.
  8. For Name, enter Zivver Relay.
  9. For Alias, enter relay.
  10. For External email address, enter relay@zivver.org (the placeholder domain).
  11. Click Save.

The mail contact is now created.
