Create a contact in accepted domain

How to create a contact in Microsoft Exchange On-premise? This contact uses the placeholder domain that you created in the previous step.

Prerequisites

Before you create a contact in the accepted domain, be sure you have created an accepted domain.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Exchange Administrative Center (EAC).
  2. Log into EAC as an administrator.
  3. Go to recipients in the menu on the left.
  4. Go to contacts.
  5. Click on the add button.
  6. Choose Mail contact.
  7. Enter a display name. For example: Zivver Relay.
  8. Enter a name. For example: Zivver Relay.
  9. Enter an alias. Use relay as the alias.
  10. Enter the external email address. Use the placeholder domain that was created in the previous section. The email address should be: relay@zivver.org.
  11. Click Save.

You now created the contact person.
