Disable the Zivver attachment button for PAMS
With the Zivver attachment button, an end user can add attachments of up to 5 TB to a message in Microsoft Outlook. This process bypasses the mail server. Therefore, the maximum message size set in your mail server does not limit the attachment size.
When you use the Zivver attachment button, the attachment is not added to the message in Outlook. Instead, the Zivver Office Plugin uploads it directly from Outlook to the Zivver Server. As a result, the attachment is not processed by your mail server or Secure Email Gateway (SEG).
If it is required that your mail server or SEG process all outbound attachments, you can disable the Zivver attachment button. However, if you disable this button, the maximum message size of your mail server will limit the attachment size.
Procedure
Do these steps on every workspace to disable the Zivver attachment button:
Open this Windows Registry item:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Zivver\OfficePlugin\Settings
Create a DWORD (32-bit) Value.

EnableZivverAttachmentsWithMailAssistedSubmission
.Double-click on
EnableZivverAttachmentsWithMailAssistedSubmission
.Enter the value

.Close and restart Outlook.
The Zivver attachment button is now unavailable (grayed out).

from 0
to 1
