Create a mail flow rule in Exchange on premise
If you want to submit sent Zivver messages to the Zivver SMTP Server, you must filter them out for secure delivery.
This is the last step for Zivver Plugin Assisted Mail Submission (PAMS) implementation in Microsoft Exchange on-premise.
Do these steps to create a rule in Microsoft Exchange on-premise:
- Go to the Exchange Administrative Center (EAC).
- Log into EAC as an administrator.
- Go to Mail Flow in the menu on the left.
- Go to Rules.
- Create a rule.
Give the rule a name.
For example: Zivver Plugin Assisted Mail Submission.
Click on More options….
Under *Apply this rule if… select A message header and then Matches these text patterns.
Click on *Enter text….
Click on *Enter text patterns….
..*.(that is 2 dots, 1 asterisk/wildcard, 1 dot).
Under *Do the followingselectRedirect the message to and then These recipients.
Look up the contact person that was created before. Then, select it.
Click Add ->.
Select for Choose a mode for this rule the option Enforce.
Enable the option Defer the message if rule processing doesn’t complete.
The Mail Flow Rule is now set.
Make sure that the priority of all the existing rules is correct. If the sent message needs to be processed by other rules first:
If the rule is for PAMS, make sure that the rule that you created for PAMS has a lower priority.
The other rules do not have the setting active Stop processing other rules.
