Introduction

With Zivver, you can securely send messages from JDS WIND!. Easily and safely send referrals and invoices directly from JDS WIND!. You can choose to send a message as a regular message or as a secure message.

To email securely from JDS WIND!, you need a business Zivver account in combination with the Zivver Mail Submission add-on. For Mail Submission, you need an Ultimate subscription and a contract that includes Mail Submission. To activate Mail Submission, contact sales@zivver.com.

Getting started

To email securely from JDS WIND!, you need a business Zivver account. Follow the steps below to easily check whether your account is a business account and which organization you belong to. Repeat these steps for each email address you use in JDS WIND!.

1. Open a web browser and go to https://app.zivver.com.
2. Log in with your email address and password.
3. Go to Personal Settings.
4. At the top of your profile, you will see the name of the organization you belong to. It will show:
   Your account is part of [name of your organization]
5. Your account is ready to send secure emails from JDS WIND!.
   Note

   If you do not see the text Your account is part of [name of your organization] but you do have a business account, ask your organization’s administrator to invite you.
   Learn how an administrator can invite a user to your organization.

Setting up Mail Submission in Zivver

To set up secure emailing in JDS WIND!, use the Zivver Mail Submission functionality. You must be an administrator to configure this.

1. Go to SMTP credentials.
2. Click New SMTP credentials.
3. Enter a description.
   For example “JDS WIND!”.
4. Click Generate.
   A new screen opens with a username and password. These details are only shown once. Make sure to save them securely!
5. Click Close.

You have now generated an SMTP username and SMTP password. You will enter these details in JDS WIND! later. Keep the SMTP username and SMTP password from the steps above safe.

Setting up secure emailing in JDS WIND!

1. Launch JDS WIND!.
2. Go to Settings > Mail Account Details.
3. Select the desired EV- mail account. EV stands for Extra Secure.
4. Enter smtp.zivver.com for SMTP server.
5. Enter 587 for Port.
6. Enter STARTTLS for Security.
7. Enter the username from the previous chapter Setting up Mail Submission in Zivver under Login name.
   
   Warning

   Do not enter the email address of a Zivver account here. You use SMTP credentials to send messages via Zivver with Mail Submission. At this step, enter SMTP Username, not the email address of a Zivver account.
8. Enter the password from the previous chapter Setting up Mail Submission in Zivver under Password.
   
   Warning

   Do not enter the password of a Zivver account here. You use SMTP credentials to send messages via Zivver with Mail Submission. At this step, enter SMTP Password, not the password of a Zivver account.
9. Click Close.

Repeat steps 3 through 9 for each EV- mail account. You can now securely send messages from JDS WIND!.

Sending a secure message

Follow the steps below to send a message securely. It is not possible to securely send appointment confirmations and reminders/calls or to add extra security using the patient’s mobile phone number.

1. Email an invoice or letter.
2. Ensure the Extra encrypted option is enabled.
3. Send the message as you normally would.

The recipient will now receive the message securely via Zivver.
