Introduction

With Zivver, you can securely send messages—such as invoices—directly from Evry.

To send secure emails from Evry, you need a business Zivver account in combination with the Zivver Mail Submission add-on. For Mail Submission, an Ultimate subscription and a contract including Mail Submission are required. To activate Mail Submission, contact sales@zivver.com.

Getting Started

To send secure emails from Evry, you need a business Zivver account. The steps below let you easily check whether your account is a business account and which organization you belong to. Repeat these steps for each email address you use in Evry.

1. Open a web browser and go to https://app.zivver.com.
2. Log in with your email address and password.
3. Go to Personal Settings.
4. At the top of your profile, you will see the name of the organization you belong to:
   Your account is part of [name of your organization]
5. Your account is ready to send secure emails from Evry.
   Note

   If you do not see the text Your account is part of [name of your organization] but you do have a business account, ask your organization’s administrator to invite you.
   Learn how an administrator can invite a user to your organization.

Setting up Mail Submission in Zivver

To set up secure emailing in Evry, you use the Zivver Mail Submission functionality. You need to be an administrator to set this up.

1. Go to SMTP credentials.
2. Click New SMTP credentials.
3. Enter a description.
   For example, “Evry”.
4. Click Generate.
   A new screen opens with a username and password. These credentials are shown only once. Save them carefully!
5. Click Close.

You have now generated an SMTP username and SMTP password. You will enter these credentials in Evry later. Keep the SMTP username and password from the steps above safe.

Setting up secure email in Evry

1. Start Evry.
2. Go to Stamgegevens > Email > SMTP instellen > Secure e-mail van Zivver gebruiken.
3. Enter the following details:
   For Zivver email address, enter the email address of your Zivver account.
   For Zivver SMTP Username, enter the username from the previous chapter Setting up Mail Submission in Zivver.
   
   Warning

   Do not enter the email address of a Zivver account here. You use SMTP credentials to send messages via Zivver using Mail Submission. In this step, enter SMTP Username, not the email address of a Zivver account.
   For Zivver SMTP Password, enter the password from the previous chapter.

4. Use the option Gebruikers e-mailadressen gebruiken (stamgegevens gebruiken) only if the users’ email addresses have a Zivver account. Invite a colleague to create a Zivver account or disable this option.
5. Optional: Under Onderdelen uitsluiten van secure e-mail, select which types of email you do or do not want to send securely via Zivver.
6. Click OK.

You can now send secure messages from Evry.
